1. Water supply
Issues of using water bodies as possible sources of water supply, design and operation of water intake structures are considered.

2. Operation of water supply and wastewater systems
Methods for ensuring reliable operation of water supply and wastewater systems are considered. The modes of trouble-free operation of equipment and methods for eliminating malfunctions are studied.

3. Systems and equipment of external water supply networks
Water supply systems and schemes, composition and modes of operation of structures are studied. Issues of design and calculation of external water supply networks are considered.

4. Energy saving and energy audit of water supply and wastewater systems
Issues of surveying enterprises and organizations to determine the possibilities of saving energy consumption and implementing mechanisms for energy efficiency are considered.

5. Sanitary-technical equipment of buildings
Schemes and equipment of internal water supply and wastewater systems are studied. Special attention is paid to the design and calculation of elements of water supply and sewerage networks.

6. Modernization, reconstruction, and repair-restoration works in civil engineering
The directions of reliable and economical operation of engineering systems are considered. Methods for increasing their efficiency through modernization and reconstruction are studied.

7. Optimization and reliability of water supply and distribution systems
Issues of reliable and uninterrupted operation of water distribution systems are considered, and methods for achieving effective and rational functioning of these systems through optimization are studied.
