Prof. Danishevskyy is an internationally recognized scholar working in a wide interdisciplinary area that covers mechanics of heterogeneous materials and structures, wave propagation, phononic crystals, non-linear elasticity and non-linear dynamics. His level of expertise is confirmed by two books published by Wiley (2014) and Springer (2017), by highly quoted publications in top-ranked journals and by lectures delivered at leading scientific conferences worldwide. His h-index is 15 (by Scopus).

Prof. Danishevskyy obtained his Masters (1996), Ph.D. (1999), and Doctor of Sciences (equivalent to Habilitation) (2008) degrees in Structural Mechanics from Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Ukraine. Among his achievements are Soros' Post-Graduate Student’s Award (1997), Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the best academic achievement among young scholars (2000), Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Research Fellowship (2001), NATO Research Fellowship (2003), NATO Reintegration Grant (2005), institutional academic co-operation grant of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2007), research grants from German research foundation DFG (2010, 2014), Marie-Curie Research Fellowship by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (2015), Theodore von Kármán Fellowship by RWTH Aachen University (2018). He has conducted long-term research abroad in RWTH Aachen University, Germany (2001–2002), in the University of Rouen, France (2003–2004), and in Keele University, UK (2015–2017).

In 2006 graduated from PSACEA, speciality “Material science”. In 2007 had training in Freiberg University of Mining and Technology as a participant in international program TEMPUS. From 2010 to 2014 - junior research assistant at the Laboratory for Experimental Research at PSACEA. In 2015 he defended a dissertation for the degree of a n associate professor of technical sciences in specialty 05.02.01 - materials science.
From 2015 he has been a senior researcher at the Laboratory for Experimental Research at PSACEA, an associate professor at the Department of Materials Science and Department of Materials Processing, part-time.

In 1997 he graduated from e Prydniprovsk State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture with honors in the field of Industrial and Civil Engineering. He has been working at the Academy since 1997.
In 2001 he defended his associate professor thesis in specialty 05.23.08 - "Technology of Industrial and Civil Engineering" 017-2019 -Head of Education and Research Center of Correspondence and Distance Education

In 2005 he defended his associate professor thesis on "Improvement of organizational support of the system for the management of the efficiency of construction production". In May 2016 he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic: "Methodological principles of substantiation of organizational and technological decisions for the construction of high-rise multifunctional complexes." From December 2016 he has been a professor of the Department of Planning and Organization of Production at PSACEA.

Since 1998 he has been working at the Academy: deputy head of rector on work with the youth, chairman of the Committee of family and youth affairs (1998 - 2002), postgraduate student of the department of the RCC (2002 - 2005), assistant of the chair of the RCC (2002 - 2008), the Head of Capital Construction Department of Dnipropetrovs'k Regional State Administration (2008 - 2010), Director of NSC "Ukrbudproekt" (2010-2011), junior researcher of LDAtaTe (since 2011 till now).
