Courses

1. Modeling of Soil-Structure Interaction
The academic discipline is aimed at the study of soil models used for the numerical simulation of interaction between foundations and the soil environment, as well as ground structures of a building. It considers examples of detailed solutions to problems towards determining the stress-strain state of bases and foundations.

2. Monitoring of the State of Bases and Foundations in Facilities with Increased Responsibility
The academic discipline targets to study the main approaches to monitoring of deformations in buildings and structures, and to determine causes of deformations in buildings and structures in the process of construction and operation of facilities.

3. Automated Design System in Construction
The academic discipline involves familiarizing with the practical application of geotechnical software complexes for numerical computations of the behavior of soil bases and foundations under loads from a building. Subsidence of buildings (structures) and deformations of bases composed by various soils are analyzed in the form of forecasts.

4. Bases and Foundations
The academic discipline is aimed at students’ studying the basics of design, construction and operation of foundations in the context of environmental protection.

5. Fundamentals of Soil Mechanics
The Fundamentals of Soil Mechanics are the theoretical basis of foundation construction. This science studies regularities arising in soils as a result of their loading.
