Abstract: The monograph addresses the problem of increasing the efficiency of organisation and management of the process of affordable housing stock formation by developing a concept, methodological principles, methods of substantiation of organisational and technological decisions for the construction and reconstruction of buildings, taking into account the urban elements of the territories of large cities and the complex impact of the determining organisational, technological and economic factors. The best Ukrainian and foreign experience in implementing investment and construction projects for the formation and optimisation of the affordable housing stock is summarised. The methodology for substantiating and choosing rational organisational and technological decisions for the construction of affordable housing is presented.

Courses

1. Organisation of reconstruction and restoration of engineering networks and structures
The discipline is aimed at providing knowledge and understanding of the conceptual bases of the organisation of reconstruction and restoration of engineering networks and structures, as well as the skills necessary to solve scientific and applied problems in order to extend the operational life of engineering networks and structures.

2. Engineering and economic research on the preparation, planning and organisation of scientific decisions
The discipline is aimed at gaining knowledge and understanding of the conceptual foundation of scientific project management in the field of materials science. It provides knowledge of methods, techniques and tools of project management, in-depth theoretical knowledge of the concept of building project management, the principles of project activities of building enterprises, specific methods and tools of project management, in particular. Necessary skills to perform the main functions of building project management – planning, organisation and control, as well as adaptation and implementation of project decisions in practice.

3. Economics and organisation of innovation activity
The discipline is aimed at studying the economic theory of innovative activity of enterprises in order to achieve effective widespread application of research results, sources of innovation projects funding, as well as theoretical knowledge and understanding of the mechanism of innovation process.

4. Fundamentals of organising of residential buildings reconstruction
The discipline is aimed at gaining knowledge and understanding of the conceptual bases of the organisation and management of reconstruction process of residential buildings, old housing stock, in particular. It deals with rational organisational and technological decisions for the complex reconstruction of residential buildings, ensuring efficient use of resources to reduce the duration of work and the cost of building products.

5. Real estate valuation and management
The discipline deals with the main tools for supporting capital transactions that help investors to minimise risks. It provides understanding of weaknesses and strengths of the object of valuation, assessment of its performance, current, past and future expenses and revenues, as well as development prospects, which is the basis for making effective management decisions.
