Courses

1. Energy-efficient and ecological technologies in construction
The course provides theory and practice in the ways of conservation, saving energy resources, proper operation, reliability, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of buildings and structures. It deals with modern approaches to the design and construction of energy-efficient and ecological buildings based on international experience in the field of energy efficiency, as wells renewable (alternative) energy sources and their use.

2. Modernization, reconstruction, repair and restoration works in construction
The course deals with the issues of preservation, proper operation, reliability of buildings and structures, prospects after reconstruction or repair work. It shows modern methods and technologies of construction and installation works, basic technological schemes of modernization, reconstruction, repair, replacement and strengthening of structures, features of re-planning, conversion of premises, change of buildings purpose, relocation of buildings, lifting and leveling of emergency buildings, extensions, outbuildings, superstructures and other special works during reconstruction. It gives skills to conduct inspections of buildings or individual structures, to determine the effectiveness of modernization, reconstruction, repair and restoration in construction and civil engineering.
