PSACEA BIM 2026 Competition for the Best BIM Engineers

Dnipro, May 9, 2026 — The campus of the ESI PSACEA became a hub for digital innovation. The university hosted the finals of the PSACEA BIM 2026 competition, which has already grown into a nationwide event, bringing together the most promising young professionals in the field from USUST ESI PSACEA, as well as from the Lviv and Chernihiv Polytechnic Universities.

This year’s competition, moderated by Artem Sopilnyak, proved to be exceptionally intense: Throughout the day yesterday, teams presented complex information modeling projects to an expert panel consisting of Diasphere representatives Kirill Kletcov and Valeria Smolianska, as well as faculty members from the Department of Architecture, Svitlana Sereda and Andriy Tityuk. The main goal of the event was to assess practical skills in working with digital data, the ability to create BIM models of construction projects for various purposes, as well as to perform their visualization and rendering.

Diasphere served as the competition’s general sponsor. As an international player in the field of VDC (Virtual Design and Construction), Diasphere not only provided the prize fund but also added practical value to the event. Company representatives personally evaluated the participants’ work yesterday, seeking new talent for their team.

The contestants’ presentations demonstrated a high level of proficiency in modern digital technologies and confirmed that Ukrainian students are already working in accordance with international design standards. Representatives from Diasphere highlighted the importance of such initiatives, which help integrate students into the professional environment and bridge the gap between education and participation in real-world high-tech projects.

The finals concluded with an awards ceremony, where the winners received internship certificates. The organizers noted that the quality of the participants’ work in the architecture and structural engineering categories set a new record for the competition’s history.

The event once again demonstrated that the synergy between the ESI PSACEA academic community and technology leaders such as Diasphere is key to rebuilding Ukraine to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The competition was held as part of the European Erasmus+ project “The BRIDGE: Bridging the Gap Between University and Industry: An Innovative Master’s Program Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Construction Sector,” aimed at promoting BIM technologies in construction, and as part of the Erasmus+ VETPartEx project, aimed at modernizing vocational education and training (VET) in Ukraine’s construction sector.
