Kick-off meeting of the «The BRIDGE» project

On November 28-29, 2023, the kick-off meeting of The BRIDGE international project took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2, aimed at promoting the “Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)” in partner countries outside European Union.

The BRIDGE project aims to develop and implement innovative Master’s Programs supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Building Sector. The project will contribute to establishing academic and research cooperation between Ukrainian and European universities, as well as strengthening relationships between universities and enterprises, which will correspond to Ukraine’s European integration ambitions to acquire the status of a member of the European Union in the future.

The kick-off meeting of the BRIDGE consortium partners from Ukraine and the European Union took place online on the platform of the Microsoft Teams.

The number of participants who participated in the kick-off meeting were 47 people.

Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Coordinator, was represented by Vladyslav Danishevskyy, Vice-Rector for Research, and Yuliya Degtyariova, Head of the Centre for International Education and International Cooperation and Artem Sopilniak, Head of the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Graphics.

During the meeting, all the universities and non-academic organisations which are partners of the project presented their institutions and shared their existing achievements and experience in areas that meet the project objectives. The plans for project management, project quality assurance, dissemination of project results, specifics of the equipment procurement procedures, mobilities, and other aspects of organisational, administrative, and financial management of the project were clarified.

The meeting participants paid special attention to the development and approval of project work plans, as well as ideas and areas for further cooperation to ensure the project’s sustainability. At the end of the kick-off meeting, the project partners focused on the nearest project tasks, activities, and deadlines for their implementation.
