EU Experience in Energy-Efficient Construction: Lessons for Ukraine

The Round Table Once Again Brings Together Like-Minded Professionals!

On June 28, within the framework of the EUGREEN project of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module, implemented at the Educational and Scientific Institute of the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, a Round Table “EU Experience in Energy-Efficient Construction: Lessons for Ukraine” was held.

The event attracted the attention of more than 50 participants, and the speakers’ presentations inspired lively discussions among representatives of Prydniprovska State Academy, partner universities, business leaders, and local government representatives.

Special thanks go to the speakers for their insightful examples, innovative ideas, and valuable practical experience:
– Dmytro Zarytskyi, Director of a company providing integrated energy-efficient construction solutions;
– Prof. Oleh Serhiichuk, DSc (Eng.), Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture;
– Dr. Inna Kraivska, PhD (Economics), doctoral researcher, Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O.M. Beketov;
– Assoc. Prof. Yevhen Yurchenko, PhD (Eng.), Director of the Energy Innovation Hub of PSACEA;
– Prof. Veronika Chala, DSc (Economics), member of the EUGREEN project team.

The event results are now being summarized, and materials will soon be published. The team is already preparing for the next Round Table, scheduled for October, entitled “Sustainable Urban Planning.”

We look forward to meeting all environmentally minded professionals again!
