Defense of diploma theses by students of the educational and professional program “BIM Technologies in Construction and Civil Engineering”

As part of the international project “The BRIDGE,” under the Erasmus+ program “Capacity Building in Higher Education,” the defense of qualification works for the educational program “BIM Technologies in Civil and Environmental Engineering” took place for the first time on December 19, 2024, in room 350 and online.

Future specialists demonstrated a high level of training by presenting their projects, which incorporated modern methods of applying BIM (Building Information Modeling) in various areas of construction, from the design of individual structures to the optimization of building construction processes.
The key topics included:
– Implementation of BIM models for designing and automating the planning of construction projects;
– Analyzing the effectiveness of 3D modeling for the reconstruction of buildings;
– Use of digital technologies to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.

The examination committee, which included representatives of the academic community and practicing engineers, acknowledged the relevance of the thesis topics, as well as the quality of the BIM tools used.

As a result of the diploma defenses and competitions utilizing BIM technologies, many students received job offers from leading partner companies of our university. This underscores the importance of digital technologies in modern construction and the high demand for specialists in this field.
