An expert workshop organized by DIASPHERE to prepare students from UDUNT ESI PSACEA for the «PSACEA BIM 2026» competition
As part of the preparations for the upcoming PSACEA BIM 2026 competition, a large-scale online training session was held from April 24 to May 6, focusing on the practical aspects of BIM modeling of structures and engineering systems. The event served as a key stage in an educational program designed to enhance students’ digital skills ahead of the final BIM modeling competition.
The speaker for the intensive course was Kirill Kletcov, a leading representative of DIASPHERE. DIASPHERE is known for its work in project development and the coordination of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems), with a portfolio of over 200 successfully completed BIM projects.
The training focused primarily on the comprehensive design of internal engineering systems. During the online session, participants worked with the instructor to thoroughly review the algorithms for creating key sections:
* Sewer and drainage systems;
* Ventilation: supply and exhaust;
* Fire suppression systems.
Kirill not only demonstrated modeling techniques but also thoroughly analyzed architectural and engineering nuances. Students received answers to questions about how best to structure a project, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to logically establish connections between a building’s various systems.
This training served as a true bridge for the students between academic knowledge and the demands of the real-world construction industry. The tips and techniques they learned will enable participants to significantly improve the quality of their competition entries.
Now the most exciting part awaits the young professionals—the practical phase of the PSACEA BIM 2026 competition, where they will be able to demonstrate their skills by bringing their own vision of the “house of the future” to life using professional BIM tools.
We wish all participants the best of luck and look forward to the competition results!
The training was conducted as part of the European Erasmus+ project “The BRIDGE: Bridging the Gap Between University and Industry—An Innovative Master’s Program Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Construction Sector,” which aims to promote BIM technologies in construction and is part of the VETPartEx Center under the Erasmus+ VETPartEx project, aimed at modernizing vocational education and training (VET) in Ukraine’s construction sector.
