Courses

1. Physics of the condensed state of materials
The goal of the discipline is to expand students' technical horizons, understanding of physical phenomena during the formation of solid and liquid materials. The formation of ideas about the structure of these materials and its influence on the physical properties of solid bodies, the ability to use scientific literature and mastering the technologies of obtaining materials with the necessary properties.

2. Metals and welding in construction
Tasks of the discipline: mastering the general concepts of the physical and chemical foundations of the processes of welding, soldering and gluing; methods of welding, soldering and gluing; methods for choosing non-separable connection methods depending on the characteristics of the material; development of connection technologies and methods of control and testing of an integral connection.

3. Crystallography, crystal chemistry and mineralogy
Understanding the nature of interatomic interaction, which helps the future specialist consciously improve the quality of materials, obtain new materials with the necessary operational properties, more effectively use mineral raw materials for the needs of construction, metallurgy.
