Bim-future starts today

On April 9, 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and the Ukrainian office of the international company VEC (headquartered in California) as part of the international project “The BRIDGE,” under the Erasmus+ program “Capacity Building in Higher Education.” The document was signed by Vladyslav Danishevskyy, Head of the reorganization committee of PSACEA, and Anna Vasilenko, Director of VEC-UA.

VEC is one of the world leaders in building information modeling (BIM). BIM technologies allow for the creation of complex virtual prototypes of buildings, enabling the evaluation and optimization of design solutions to find the best options. The result is maximum construction quality at minimum costs and project risks.

Upcoming plans include lectures and masterclasses from VEC specialists for students, internships at VEC, competitions for term papers and theses, and the establishment of a modern BIM modeling laboratory at the academy.
