Courses
1. Fire prevention
The course is aimed at the formation of students ability to think creatively, to solve and model the result during the construction and operation of buildings and structures, to determine problems, methods and methodological issues related to solving fire prevention, to use knowledge to increase the fire resistance of building products and structures, masters learn to develop methods that it is possible to minimize damage caused by fire at the facility, design fire protection structures, smoke removal systems, fire extinguishing systems, calculate and organize evacuation from the facility, etc.
2. Labor protection in the construction industry
The course is aimed at the formation of future masters in the level of knowledge and skills necessary for their further professional activities in matters of occupational safety when performing construction and assembly, dismantling and finishing works on the construction site during new construction, reconstruction, expansion or overhaul of buildings, structures and life support systems.
3. Organization and implementation of construction works at construction sites
The course is aimed at the formation of students ability to think creatively, to solve complex problems of ensuring chemical, radiation, man-made and fire safety during emergency and rescue operations in the conditions of liquidation of emergency situations, extreme conditions, in the conditions of hostilities and shelling. To learn to make independent productive decisions in the field of using special emergency and rescue equipment, special means, tools and technical means during rescue and other emergency operations to ensure civil and man-made safety issues.
4. Radiation safety of buildings and structures
The course is aimed at the formation of the necessary basics of ensuring radiation safety and the impact of sources of ionizing radiation of construction production on the human body, determining the characteristics of natural and artificial radionuclides, determining the radiation parameters of construction products, the basics of designing anti-radon measures for residential and industrial premises of buildings and structures of various purposes. determination of regulated radiation parameters of construction production in Ukraine.
