Courses

1. Civil protection
The course is aimed at forming in higher education students the level of knowledge and skills necessary in their future professional activities on the general patterns of occurrence and development of hazards, emergencies, primarily of a man-made nature, their properties, possible impact on human life and health and the necessary skills to prevent and eliminate them, protect people and the environment.

2. Basics of labour protection and civil protection
The course is aimed at forming of the level of knowledge and skills necessary in their further professional activities on the basics of labor protection and civil protection, general patterns of occurrence and development of hazards, emergencies, primarily of a man-made nature, the implementation of which in practice will help to improve working conditions, increase productivity, prevent occupational diseases, occupational injuries, accidents.

3. Ergonomics
The course is aimed at forming of future bachelors' skills and competencies required in their future professional activities, the level of knowledge and skills in ergonomics, taking into account the peculiarities of the future professional activities of graduates, as well as the achievements of scientific and technological progress.

4. Theory of combustion and explosion
The course is aimed at forming of future bachelors' skills and competencies in the basic concepts and definitions that characterize the fire hazard of substances and materials, the laws of the processes of occurrence and development of sustainable combustion, methods of assessing the fire and explosion hazard of the environment.

5. Methodology, organization and technology of scientific research
The course is aimed at forming formation of students' scientific outlook, a holistic view of the methodology of scientific research and skills of practical application of specific methods of scientific research in professional activities, formation of a system of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of civilian security, conduct and methodology of scientific research, philosophical and organizational principles of scientific activity; study of the principles and methods of management and implementation of scientific research, organization of researcher's work, ethics and morality of science.
