Investing in educational projects have different shapes - acquisition of educational and scientific literature in foreign languages, encouraging the best students with special scholarships, grants to teachers, sponsoring participation in conferences and symposiums, professional internships for teachers and students. Investments in education are playing an important role for Ukraine, as in the near future world economic growth will be based primarily on the so-called STEM- area, i.e. science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Courses

1. Higher mathematics for students of engineering specialties
The course contains traditional sections of higher mathematics. Basic concepts of higher mathematics such as matrices, determinants, vectors, line and plane, limit and continuity of a function, derivative, differential, integral, differential equations, series are studied. The purpose of teaching the discipline is the formation of basic knowledge in future specialists for solving problems in professional activity; further development of logical and algorithmic thinking; mastering basic research methods and solving practical problems; studying the mathematical apparatus necessary for mastering other general scientific and special disciplines.

2. Higher mathematics for students of economic specialties
The course contains traditional sections of higher mathematics, recommended by the standard curriculum of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine for economic specialties, as well as basic concepts of mathematical logic, combinatorics, mathematics in finance and accounting.

3. Probability theory and mathematical statistics
The discipline studies regularities of random phenomena: random events, random variables, their functions, properties and operations on them. Probabilistic patterns of mass phenomena are studied on the basis of research data. The course provides a mathematical reasoning for decision-making in conditions of uncertainty, i.e. in the absence of information.

4. Spherical geometry and trigonometry
The main objects of study are polygons (especially triangles) on the sphere and the relationship between sides and angles. The course of spherical trigonometry forms a set of knowledge necessary for navigation on the surface of the earth.

5. Mathematical methods of solving engineering problems
The discipline is devoted to the acquisition of the necessary knowledge and skills for the formation of design and technological problems in mathematical terms, the choice of ways of solving a mathematical problem and obtaining the results of mathematical modeling in the form of optimal (useful) engineering information.
