Courses
1. Material processing technology
The course covers various methods and techniques of material processing at middle and final molding stages; pressure and cutting technologies; types and application of rolling and forging equipment and tools.
2. Structural materials technology and materials science
The course covers the basics of materials science and alloy theory; the basics of heat treatment of steels and technological processes of materials processing from metallurgy of metals to the final methods of processing the finished parts. It deals with the general principles of structure formation, the properties of steels and cast irons; material processing such as casting, smelting and pressure treatment; welding and cutting processes.
