Areas of research:

- carrying out all kinds of live and instrumental acoustic measurements, theoretical calculations;
- assessment, analysis and forecasting of the acoustic regime of the designed or already built object of noise protection in comparison with the current sanitary, construction and technical regulations;
- development of special measures that compensate for the negative impact and ensure normatively acceptable or comfortable levels of external noise at protected objects

Scientific achievements:

– a software complex was developed as part of the “AcousticLab” computer program, which is intended for simulation modeling of the acoustic regime in urban planning;
– developed, issued and applied State Building Regulations of Ukraine DBN V.1.1.-31:2013 “Protection of territories, buildings and structures from noise”, National Standards of Ukraine DSTU-NB V.1.1-32:2013 “Instructions for the design of protection against noise in premises by means of sound absorption and shielding”, DSTU-NB V.1.1-35:2013 “Guidelines for calculating noise levels in premises and on territories”;
– the practical implementation of the developed methods of acoustic calculation, assessment, analysis and visualization of the acoustic regime, methods and means of protection against noise was carried out at more than 300 capital construction objects in the city of Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk region, in Ukraine, Europe and the world
