Dear Colleagues, we cordially invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cINNOVATIONS IN CONSTRUCTION AND SMART BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES FOR COMFORTABLE, ENERGY EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE\u201d. The purpose of the event is to disseminate the results of scientific research and practical experience in the field of innovative technologies for ensuring the parameters of comfort, energy efficiency and eco-friendliness in residential buildings based on smart-technologies among representatives of education, science, business and government, in order to use such technologies in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The Conference is planned as a part of the project \u201cA novel decentralized edge-enabled prescriptive and proactive framework for increased energy efficiency and well-being in residential buildings\u201d funded by the European Union under HORIZON2020 Program (grant ID 958284 \u2013 PRECEPT). The working languages are English and Ukrainian.<\/p>\n

Conference Proceedings Publication
\n<\/strong>Abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings. If desired, the participants can submit papers for publication in Ukrainian Journal of Civil Engineering and Architecture (a professional periodical of the Ministry of Education and Science, category B). After the peer review, selected papers will be published in a separate volume of W3S Web of Conferences (an Open Access publication series indexed in Scopus).<\/p>\n

Registration and Publication Fees
\n<\/strong>The registration fee is UAH 200 per paper, which includes the organizational expenses and costs of ordering the Abstracts Volume (electronic edition with ISBN number and DOI). A preliminary cost to publish a paper in W3S Web of Conferences is about 4000 UAH. It is a subject to change depending on the final number of articles selected for punlication and on the currency exchange rate on the date of payment.<\/p>\n

Preparing papers for W3S Web of Conferences
\n<\/strong>Only papers written in proper academic English can be considered.<\/p>\n

Manuscripts preparing:
\n\u2022 Topics of the papers should be strickly in the scope of W3S Web of Conferences journal. The literature review should cover publications in internationally recognized sources. The abstract and title should present key information about the subject and include important keywords.
\n\u2022 The papers should come from various international collaborations.
\n\u2022 At least one author of each paper should attend the Conference.
\n\u2022 Maximum two papers from one author can be accepted.
\n\u2022 The number of co-authors cannot exceed 4-5 (unless it is proved by the results of the study).
\n\u2022 The number of pages is unlimited, but not less than 5.
\n\u2022 The papers should be prepared in MS Word, 170 x 250 mm paper size, one column format (see the template attached<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n

The manuscripts can be accepted for publication following the blind peer review, which is organized by the Scientific Committee. The manuscripts will be checked in a plagiarism tool. W3S Web of Conferences reserves the right to reject any submissions, which don\u2019t meet the requirements presented above.<\/p>\n
