- numerical and experimental studies of deformation and stability of thin-walled structures in a non-uniform stress-strain state;
- problems of biomechanics of osteosynthesis and endoprosthesis of human joints;
- mechanical characteristics of heterogeneous materials and structures;
- dynamic properties of non-linear structures and materials;
- methods of artificial intelligence for rational design of buildings and structures;
- calculation of structures under the condition of incomplete information about the initial data;
- calculation of reinforced concrete structures taking into account such long-term processes as shrinkage, creep and vibro-creep of concrete.


Scientific achievements:

Scientific achievements:
– finite-element models were developed and the effectiveness of the use of software complexes for calculating the stability of rotation shells was proven;
– the deformation and protrusion of shells under different load conditions, in the presence of cuts and inhomogeneity of the shape of the middle surface were investigated;
– the world’s first total ankle joint endoprosthesis was developed, as well as joint endoprosthesis designs of various locations;
– calculated models of osteosynthesis of transverse fractures of the outer tibia using fixing plates of various designs, as well as osteosynthesis of high opening corrective osteotomy of the tibia were developed;
– mathematical models and calculation methods were developed to determine the static and dynamic properties of linear and non-linear composite materials, metamaterials and acoustic crystals;
– the propagation of elastic waves in discrete structures, heterogeneous composite materials, metamaterials and acoustic crystals was studied;
– problems of nonlinear oscillations of homogeneous and heterogeneous spatial structures were solved, the effects of internal resonances and energy transfer between forms of oscillations were investigated;
– developed mathematical models, calculation methods and software complexes for determining the stress-strained state of thick-walled rubber cord shells and tires in various operating conditions;
– the theory of long-term strength and stability of rod reinforced concrete systems was built, taking into account the creep and vibration creep of concrete.
